Today involved another van trip taking us from our hotel in Mount Cook to our hotel in Queenstown. The trip took about 5 hours but it was another beautiful scenic ride with a few pitstops scheduled along the way. We told our driver that we had a nice dinner reservation so she made sure to get us to the hotel on time.

My birthday dinner at Nest Kitchen & Bar was great. When Paul and I arrived to the restaurant, there was a bottle of champagne waiting for us. My sister called ahead and made the arrangements. A very sweet gesture.

2/13/25 – State Champions!

Ellis and the Metcalf Wildcats are State Champions! I woke up at 1:30 am to watch the title game. Ellis played great and they brought home the title for 7th grade boys basketball. It’s quite an accomplishment. He worked hard and it’s great to see that hard work pay off.
